TRICIA BARNA

Acrylic landscapes and floral works
Tricia paints semi-abstract atmospheric landscapes and floral works, a mixture of abstraction and representation of her surroundings.

Born in Dumfriesshire, Scotland, she studied Art and Design in Glasgow and has worked as a graphic designer in publishing and advertising in both Scotland and Hungary for 36 plus years whilst painting in her spare time. Now a full time artist and framer, she works out of her studio in Dumfries.

Inspired by the light, textures, colours and forms of her local landscape, her paintings reveal her own interpretation and creative experience, while aiming to inspire the viewer to create their own perspective.

Working in acrylics, she uses a mix of tools, building up layers to achieve a depth of colour then scraping back revealing underlying subtle colours and textures. This allows the painting to develop in often unexpected and contrasting directions, resulting in a distinctive body of work.

ANDY PHILPOTT

Lamps, sculptures and furniture in wood, resin and metal
Andy's approach is inspired by a sense of open-minded exploration. Over 33 years, and in various parts of the globe, he has produced hand-painted and computer-generated watch designs, murals, furniture and art.

Alongside original artworks in resin, ink and perspex, he designs and creates unique furniture in wood, metal and resin. making use of his lateral thinking and problem-solving skills to find solutions to bring his creations to reality.
